Sistine Museums of the Picenum

The museum, located next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Marina, tells the story of the Sambenedettese church from its origins to the present day. Displays significant works of the martyred saints, artifacts from the parish church of St. Benedict the Martyr and the church of St. Mary of the Navy. Among the treasures on display are ancient vestments from San Basso, statues of the Evangelists from the 19th century, a tabernacle by Don Luigi Sciocchetti, and sketches by Ugolino da Belluno. The tour concludes with works from a private collection of sacred art.
